Next to the short-term projects that had taken place in recent years, GALLERY GALLERY launched a new concept. One artist was invited to install a work that was exhibited for one full academic year. The work was on continuous display spanning all other projects. Oscar Hugal presented A Man Sternly Clearing His Throat (2020 – 2021), a single-channel sound installation which distributes the sound of “a man sternly clearing his throat” once every minute throughout the exhibition space.
